Do Not Disturb
Silence calls and notifications in ConnectUC with Do Not Disturb, and know which devices it affects.
Do Not Disturb (DND) stops calls from ringing you, so you can focus or step away. Callers follow your no-answer path instead, which is usually voicemail.
Turn Do Not Disturb on or off (computer)
- Click your user icon in the top-left corner.
- Switch on the Do Not Disturb toggle.
- Switch it off when you’re ready to take calls again.
Tip: On a computer, Shift + Alt + D turns Do Not Disturb on or off.
Turn Do Not Disturb on or off (mobile)
- Tap your avatar in the top-left corner.
- Tap Toggle Do Not Disturb (All Devices).
Quieter options
Next to Do Not Disturb you’ll find two more switches:
- Disable Calls stops calls ringing in this app, on this device only. They still ring your other devices, like your desk phone or the mobile app.
- Disable Notifications turns off ConnectUC’s pop-up notifications. Calls still ring.
Do Not Disturb goes further: calls to you are sent to voicemail, and notifications are turned off too.
Which devices does it affect?
Look at the small text under the Do Not Disturb toggle:
- Applies to calls to user means DND covers all your devices, including your desk phone.
- Applies to calls to this client means it only covers the app you’re using.
Usually DND syncs between ConnectUC and your desk phone. Turn it on in one place and it’s on in both.
Heads up: It’s easy to forget DND is on. If coworkers say your calls go straight to voicemail, check this toggle first.

Common questions
DND keeps turning on by itself. Why?
This is almost always your desk phone’s DND button being pressed or synced. Check the phone, then contact support if it keeps happening.
Does my phone’s own Focus or Do Not Disturb mode affect ConnectUC?
Yes. If your iPhone Focus or Android Do Not Disturb is on, the ConnectUC mobile app may not ring.
Do callers know I’m on DND?
No. They simply reach your voicemail or wherever your calls go when you don’t answer.
