Our commitment
Dial Raven LLC ("Dial Raven", "we", "us") wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to learn about our business phone service, get help, and sign up on dialraven.com. That includes people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, screen magnification, voice control, or a phone.
Conformance target
Our goal is for dialraven.com, including the Help Center at dialraven.com/help, to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We consider the site largely conformant. The known limitations below are where we know it falls short, or where content comes from a partner we don't control.
What we do
Structure and navigation
- Every page has a "Skip to content" link, a descriptive title, one main heading, and labelled regions (header, navigation, main content, footer). The page language is set to English.
- The main menus open with a keyboard (Enter or Space), say whether they are open or closed, and close with Escape. On phones, the menu opens as a dialog, keeps focus inside while open, and returns focus to the menu button when closed.
- Comparison and pricing tables use real table headers and can be scrolled sideways with the keyboard on small screens.
Keyboard and focus
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, in a logical order, with no keyboard traps.
- The item in focus has a visible outline with at least 3:1 contrast, and the sticky header, the hardware catalog's filter bar and the cookie banner don't cover it.
- Buttons and links are at least 24 by 24 pixels, or spaced so they are easy to tap.
Text, color and motion
- Text meets the WCAG AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1 (3:1 for large text and interface parts), including button hover states.
- Pages reflow to a 320-pixel-wide screen and work at 200% zoom without sideways scrolling, except data tables, which scroll on their own.
- We follow your device's "reduce motion" setting: animations and scroll effects are turned off.
Forms
- Every field on the contact form and the sign-up form has a visible label. Optional fields are marked "(optional)".
- If something needs fixing, the problem is written out next to the field, announced to screen readers, and focus moves to the field.
- On the step-by-step sign-up form, moving to a new step is announced ("Step 3 of 7: Hardware") and focus moves to the new step's heading.
- Your cookie choice is asked in a banner that doesn't block the page; "Accept all" and "Reject all" are equally easy to reach, and "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page reopens it.
Testing
- We test pages with automated tools (axe-core and Google Lighthouse) at desktop and phone sizes, and check them by hand with a keyboard, zoom and narrow screens.
- We fix problems in the website's own code. We don't use accessibility overlay widgets.
Known limitations
- Spam check on forms. The contact and sign-up forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to stop bots. It usually runs invisibly, but if it asks you to complete a check you can't, call or email us and we'll take your request directly.
- Remote-support session box. The session box on our remote-support page is provided by Zoho Assist. We don't control its accessibility; our technicians can start a session with you over the phone instead.
- Customer portals and apps. The ConnectUC app, Manager Portal, Billing Portal and Omnichannel portal are run by our platform partners and are not covered by this statement. If one of them gets in your way, contact us and we'll help you complete the task.
- Screenshots and manufacturer content. Help Center screenshots have text descriptions, and every step is also written out in words. Some hardware specifications come from manufacturers and may be dense.
- Signed order forms. The PDF copies of signed order and porting forms we email after sign-up are not yet fully tagged for screen readers. We can send the same information in an accessible format on request.
- Assistive technology coverage. We have not tested every combination of screen reader, browser and device, and automated tools can't catch every barrier. If something doesn't work for you, please tell us.
